  17. No, the problem is not *that* board.  Most of the 040 boards talk to the 
  18. A3000 and A4000 inefficiently.  The MB is designed for an 030.  I have 
  19. the 28MHz GVP G-Force 040 A3000 (a real lemon, BTW), and it tests slower 
  20. than the 16MHz 030 on the MB in reading and writing to registers, chip 
  21. ram, the zorro bus, and fast ram on the MB.

  23. My system is extremely unstable with the memory on the GVP board 
  24. configured at the beginning of the memory pool, so I have it configured 
  25. last, with the MB fastram first, and all tests give similiar results to 
  26. the C3640.
